Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ani-Gui handles information when people use the service, create accounts, sign in, maintain profiles or contribute to community discussions.
1. Information we handle
Depending on the features you use and how the service is implemented, Ani-Gui may process:
- Account information, such as usernames, email addresses and account identifiers.
- Basic profile information associated with your account.
- Comments, discussion posts and other content you submit.
- Authentication, session and security information used to sign you in and protect accounts.
- Technical information, such as request records and error logs, where generated by the service or its infrastructure.
The information actually processed depends on the features you use and the service's technical configuration.
2. Google Sign-In
Ani-Gui offers Google Sign-In to authenticate users. If you choose this option, Google may provide information permitted by the sign-in flow, such as your Google account identifier, email address and basic profile information, depending on the permissions requested and granted.
This information is used for authentication, account association and related account-security purposes. Ani-Gui should request only the Google account information necessary for these features.
Ani-Gui does not sell Google user data. Google user data is not used for advertising, and any access to or use of that data is limited to providing or maintaining the sign-in features, protecting the service, complying with applicable law or other uses expressly permitted by Google's applicable policies and your consent.
Ani-Gui does not use Google APIs to create, generate or distribute AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery. Google Sign-In is used for account authentication.
Google's handling of your information is governed by Google's own privacy policy and terms.
3. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- Create, maintain and authenticate user accounts.
- Display profiles and associate community contributions with their authors.
- Operate episode discussions and other community features.
- Respond to enquiries and support requests.
- Maintain reliability, troubleshoot errors and protect the service against abuse or unauthorised access.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of users and the service.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where UK data protection law applies, the legal basis for processing depends on the information and purpose involved. This may include providing a service you request, pursuing legitimate interests such as account security and service maintenance, complying with legal obligations, or consent where consent is required. The operator should assess and document the applicable basis for each processing activity.
5. Sharing and service providers
Ani-Gui does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by hosting, infrastructure, authentication or other technical providers where necessary to operate and secure the service. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to address security incidents, enforce applicable terms or protect users and the service.
Access to information should be limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose. Where applicable, information transferred to service providers or other countries should be handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
6. Retention and security
Information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, community features, security, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of information and its purpose.
Reasonable technical and organisational measures should be used to protect information. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, to object to certain processing, to restrict processing, or to request a copy of information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may be able to withdraw it.
To make a privacy request, contact watergamez101@gmail.com. Please describe your request without sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some information may need to be retained where the law permits or requires it.
If UK data protection law applies to your information, you may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
8. Children
Ani-Gui is not intended for people who are not legally permitted to use the service. The operator should apply any age restrictions required by applicable law and the service's intended audience.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Ani-Gui changes. The current version will be published on this page, together with its latest update date. Material changes should be communicated where required by law.
